Oakford Park

I am not a native of the Greensburg area but I remember the first time driving down Oakford Park Rd toward Jeannette and my father-in-law saying "there's Oakford Park". All I saw was a valley with a bunch of trees. Didn't understand why he had to point that out. Now years later I think what he was trying to tell me was that Oakford Park was something much more than trees. I've done a little bit of research and found that yes indeed, it must have been a special place. Hopefully someone can provide memories or stories about Oakford Park.
